US 85 Long X Bridge Project
Contractor: Ames Construction Inc.
This project is one of the largest bridges we have done as a complete package that will include rebar, forming/shoring, supplies, and winter heat.
The bridge is being constructed in Watford City with NDDOT as the architect. We received the notice to proceed with this project on June 11, 2019. There’s a projected end date of July 15, 2021.

So far Prairie Supply has provided 1,255,467 pounds of reinforced steel for the project, consisting of:
• Substructure Rebar (footings, pier columns, pier caps, and abutments)
• Superstructure Rebar (epoxy dipped deck rebar, diaphragms, barriers, and approach slabs)
• Wildlife crossing rebar (footing rebar)
• And various small tools ranging from nails to saws, heaters, chamfer, form oil and mor

Fargo Storage Facility
A storage facility is being constructed in Fargo, ND. They are using a Vapor barrier, insulation, adobe bricks, and pan decking. The advantage of using a Vapor Barrier is it limits the amount of moisture and gas entering the structure. If Vapor Barrier is not used the concrete deteriorates faster, leading to building failure.
